__Tell us a little about yourself, where you are from and the content you create. __ 

My name is Everson, and I'm a content creator from Brazil with a deep love for gaming and the amazing community that grows around it. My main focus is Destiny, but I also share experiences, tips, and fun moments that help connect people through the world of games.  

__What inspired you to become a Bungie Foundation supporter?  __

I've always admired how Bungie uses its influence to do good. Knowing that I can support real causes through my passion for gaming inspired me to become a Foundation supporter. It's a way to turn entertainment into positive impact.  

__Is there a particular focus of the Bungie Foundation’s work that you feel especially close to or passionate about?  __

Yes, the work with hospitalized children touches me deeply. The idea of bringing joy and hope to those going through difficult times really resonates with me. Seeing those bright eyes and such pure hearts is incredibly rewarding.  

__What class do you main and what’s your favorite build you are rocking in Edge of Fate?__

My favorite class is Warlock, and my current build is focused on grenades. I like combining mods that boost my grenade recharge and using aspects and fragments that amplify group damage. It’s just so satisfying to throw a grenade and watch everything explode!  

__What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you?__

Being a Lightkeeper means being a beacon in the community. It’s about spreading positivity, supporting meaningful causes, and showing that players can be guardians of change both in and outside the game.  

__What's your favorite Destiny gaming moment?__  

My favorite Destiny moment was when I was invited to the Bungie Bounty. It was something I had really dreamed of truly a dream come true. Being the target for a few hours and seeing the whole community trying to find me in PvP was absolutely amazing!  

__What keeps you coming back to Destiny and its community year after year?__  

We have a community that’s truly passionate about the game. When I’m playing with friends and the Guardians who join me on stream, there’s always something new to explore and amazing people to meet. Destiny has given me friends I’ve never met in person, but the game connects us and lets us share incredible moments together.  

__What’s a moment where your community surprised or inspired you?__  

Yes! During charity streams, I saw people who had never donated before getting involved and sharing the campaign. Many Guardians came together for a cause doing good is something that truly motivates and inspires. We celebrated when other creators reached their personal goals. The Guardians in our community are amazing and always help when they can. We’ve had beautiful stories, like friends who were able to get their first console thanks to the support of the community.  

__What does representation in gaming and streaming spaces mean to you?__  

Representation is essential. Seeing people like me in these spaces shows that I too belong, can create, and inspire. It’s about opening doors, breaking barriers, and showing that diversity makes the gaming community stronger. When creators from different backgrounds have a voice, everyone benefits.  

__Any advice for someone thinking about joining a future fundraising campaign in support of the Bungie Foundation?__  

Start with your heart. It doesn’t matter how big your community is the impact comes from your intention. Be transparent, engage your audience, and remember: every contribution counts. 

Community Spotlight: oEverson

__Tell us a little about yourself, where you are from and the content you create. __

My name is Janpiert. I’m a creator from Peru who focuses mainly on PvP. My goal on my streams has always been to help people get to the Lighthouse and earn the best rewards from the chest. You can usually find me playing Trials every weekend, while also hanging out and having fun with everyone in chat. I’m not really a PvE player, but whenever big challenges come out, like contest Raids or Dungeons, you’ll always see me there taking on the challenge.  

__What inspired you to become a Bungie Foundation supporter?  __

I was inspired by realizing that my content and community can be more than just playing or streaming games for fun. I find it very inspiring that we can use this entertainment to make an impact for people in need. Also, being part of something like this makes me feel very happy, because it’s not only about games, it’s about making a difference.  

__Is there a particular focus of the Bungie Foundation’s work that you feel especially close to or passionate about? __ 

I would definitely say the Little Lights program. Every gamer knows that video games can heal and let you escape from the world for a few hours and sometimes that’s exactly what we need. I feel like it’s the same for the kids in this program. It gives them a chance to just be kids and enjoy something fun even while they’re going through tough times.  

__What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you?  __

To me, being a Lightkeeper means using my love for gaming to bring people together for something bigger than the game itself. It’s about community, support, and making a real impact. It’s honestly an honor, and I’m really grateful to take part in such great events as a Lightkeeper.  

__What’s your favorite Destiny gaming moment? __

My favorite Destiny gaming moment has always been contest raid day one. I’m the kind of person who loves challenges, and without a doubt, running a new raid every year and trying to complete it within 48 hours is an experience I’ve never felt in any other game. Watching so many players racing the contest, competing with each other, and having an audience behind the screens supporting their favorite teams is something truly unique to Destiny 2.  

__What keeps you coming back to Destiny and its community year after year?__

The people. Every time I play Destiny 2, I feel like streaming. I’ve built such a strong connection with my community that even when I play off stream, I feel the need to go live. Over the years, I’ve met so many people through the game who became close friends, and some I was even lucky enough to meet in person. What really keeps me coming back to Destiny is the community I’ve built along the way.

__What’s a moment where your community surprised or inspired you?__  

I’ll never forget the moment my community made me feel truly grateful for what we’ve built together. During my Game2Give 2022 stream, I dropped my second PvP montage. It was my second shot at winning MOTW, and the amount of support I got that week was unreal, especially during my time slot for G2G. So many people from the LATAM community supported the project I had put so much work into, and thanks to all their support, the following TWID announced we had won MOTW. I owe so much to my LATAM community, without them, I wouldn’t even be here being featured in this spotlight. 

__How does celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month resonate with you personally?__ 

To me, it’s about feeling a strong connection to my home country, Peru. My family always taught me to never forget where I come from and to be proud of my roots and everything I’ve experienced. Peru is full of culture, traditions, and history, and carrying that with me while living far from home makes me proud to represent where I’m from.  

__What does representation in gaming and streaming spaces mean to you?__  

To me, representation in gaming and streaming means always welcoming people from different communities. No matter where you’re from, your culture, or your language, there will always be a spot on the Fireteam for one more. Speaking for my community, it’s been amazing to see more and more creators from LATAM getting opportunities, especially in Destiny 2. For those just starting or who have been creating content for years, it’s really comforting to see doors opening. 

__Are there elements of your heritage that inspire your creativity or the way you approach content creation?__  

To me, it comes from the way we are as Latinos. We always find funny and creative ways to say things, and that same energy shows up in my streams. What inspires me the most is just keeping things fun, so anyone who drops by leaves with a laugh or at least a smile. That’s who we are in LATAM, we’re positive people who always try to make the best out of any situation. As a LATAM creator, I bring a lot of that vibe into my content, and in my community we even have this inside joke called “Momento Latam.” It’s something we say all the time whenever something happens that feels like it could only happen in LATAM and nowhere else. 

__If you could pass along one message during Hispanic Heritage Month to the Destiny community, what would it be?__  

My message would be that no matter where you’re from, at the end of the day we’re all one community. In LATAM, everyone is welcome, and you’d be surprised at how many amazing players we have, in both PvE and PvP. Over the past few years, I’ve seen LATAM fireteams compete at the same level as world-first teams during contest raids. If you give them a chance and support them, you won’t regret it.  

__Any advice for someone thinking about joining a future fundraising campaign in support of the Bungie Foundation?__ 

I’d say just go for it. Don’t worry if your incentives or the stuff you put together to raise donations aren’t huge, what really matters is taking that first step. And even if your first fundraising campaign doesn’t hit the goal, remember that every bit of support counts and makes a difference. Stay consistent and always keep in mind the real reason we’re doing this, which is to help people in need.

Community Spotlight: Janpiert

__Tell us a little about yourself, where you are from and the content you create.__  

Hello, I'm Alyssa, I live in Mexico, I focus mainly on the Twitch platform, I enjoy streaming and playing with my community, and I really enjoy it when funny things happen to me in the game, I focus more on PvP content but I also enjoy PvE content. 

__What inspired you to become a Bungie Foundation supporter?__  

I was very encouraged to know that we could contribute a little to this worthy cause. Although many people find it difficult to contribute, but when they do, they do it wholeheartedly. 

__What class do you main and what’s your favorite build you are rocking in Edge of Fate?__  

I play as a Hunter and use the Prismatic class. 

__What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you?__  

To be able to be the protector and Guardian of the hearts of people who need it. 

__What keeps you coming back to Destiny and its community year after year?__  

It's a game I love and enjoy a lot. I'm very excited by PvP, and I find PvE, like Dungeon, Raids or Grandmaster activities, very relaxing and fun. I also enjoy earning triumphs and seals. For me it is an exciting game when I want to be competitive and relaxing when I just want to enjoy and have fun. 

__What’s a moment where your community surprised or inspired you?__  

The support I've had to get to where I am, the people who decided to be with me through thick and thin, offering their support, since it's difficult for us to be recognized in the LATAM community. And above all, I'm grateful to have found true friends.

__How does celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month resonate with you personally?__  

Proud to be Mexican, celebrating Mexican Independence Day in September! Proud to speak Spanish and show that Mexicans are kind by nature. Not to mention that we are very friendly and fun. 

__What does representation in gaming and streaming spaces mean to you?__  

As a Mexican, I’m proud to represent Mexico in special situations, showing that we have good players and streamers is one of the goals we have. 

__Are there elements of your heritage that inspire your creativity or the way you approach content creation?__  

It's primarily our language, which has a wide catalog of words to describe things in different situations. Many words to describe different feelings. That's why many people consider Spanish "the language of love." 

__If you could pass along one message during Hispanic Heritage Month to the wider Destiny community, what would it be?__  

Live and let live, show the kindness that we Mexicans have. The bad things of the past are over, let's move forward! Be proud of who you are! Without you the world would not be the same. 

__Any advice for someone thinking about joining a future fundraising campaign in support of the Bungie Foundation?__ 

The first step is to start! Even if you don't have much success at first, don't give up and keep trying! Be persistent and you'll see that people will show their love and support.

Community Spotlight: Alyssa Chambers

__Tell us a little about yourself, where you are from and the content you create. __

Hey everyone, my name is Felipe Lubiano, and I go by the in-game alias Deus. I am from Chile and I’ve been an active Destiny player since the launch of Destiny 2. I’ve been in the world of Twitch since 2012 and originally started by playing Diablo III. My content on Twitch has always been about my journey as a player, hunting for seals, participating on Day 1 Raids and Dungeons, helping guardians with endgame PvE and PvP content in the past, and most importantly, building a story with my community. Years have gone by, and I’m mostly centered on playing endgame and chasing seals nowadays, fatherhood kicked in 2 years ago and it has been harder to keep up. 

__What inspired you to become a Bungie Foundation supporter? __

It started as a simple one-time initiative for one of the campaigns. But later it grew a bit more on me as I understood that the work behind the Foundation was substantial. Not only that, but some of the people who have donated have reached out to me saying that these types of events have helped relatives in the past. Where I live, fundraising is mostly centered for people that need financial aid, but from my understanding, the Bungie Foundation operates on a different level, on some occasions for humanitarian causes, and on others, changing people’s lives. And one of those was particularly the case of a contributor's relative, who happens to be from my region. 

__Is there a particular focus of the Bungie Foundation’s work that you feel especially close to or passionate about? __

As mentioned before, I became a father not long ago, and this has been a complete shift of my priorities and the way of viewing some aspects of life. For this reason, I have a strong personal bias and preference for the Little Lights program. I was personally affected by health issues during the first 5 years of my life, and I can’t stress enough how distressing it can be for children and parents. So, seeing that children find relief from what the Foundation is able to provide really brings a smile to me. 

__What class do you main and what’s your favorite build you are rocking in Edge of Fate? __

I am a Hunter main, my most used build has been a prismatic melee build using Caliban’s Hand and Liar’s Handshake. But when I just need to chill and play some quick games, I personally switch to gunslinger and spam knives and tripmines. Nonetheless, I still play all 3 classes so Solar well Warlock and Arc Thunderclash Titan are my go-to when I’m not rocking my Hunter. 

__What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you? __

To me, this has been a chance of being in the spotlight representing my region and being able to channel resources and impressions to a cause that I fully support. A couple of years ago, it might have been unthinkable that LATAM would get any recognition behind these campaigns, especially when some programs are based locally in the US and not all of them are global. 

I’m very thankful for being picked as a fundraiser and a Lightkeeper. It has been an honor participating in events with some other fellow members of the Destiny community. I wish one day to be able within my travels to the US , to be able to visit any of the institutions or programs I've fundraised for. 

__What's your favorite Destiny gaming moment? __

Always and without a doubt, Day 1 Raids. To me personally, it is just the climax of what the franchise offers. Since my channel has always been about the journey as a player, Day 1 Raids are a moment for my community to gather and witness an exhibition of the best of which the game has to offer, bringing talented players and also showcasing what true endgame is about. There is nothing like it, the marathonic 24-48 hours sometimes without sleeping, all for the final last stand and the emotions behind the completion. 

I’ve showcased during every Day 1 a video about past raids with every guardian who has stood with me during those events, as a memento of this journey, and we replay this video before every event.

__What keeps you coming back to Destiny and its community year after year? __

Initially, the story, now life. As I’ve grown older, I’ve been grateful for having played the complete saga, meeting fellow Guardians, having learnt from very experienced players and cementing my journey in Twitch and YouTube. Every drop of content has had some special moments either within the game or with the community. Life goes by and I have less time to play games, but Destiny keeps me hooked because of the addictive gunplay, the music and some fantasy moments that occur when streaming (you just really get in the moment and the fiction). 

__How does celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month resonate with you personally? __

To me, it has always been a moment of gratitude and welcomeness. But also, a moment about honoring the richness of some traditions and regional elements that we have in Chile. I’m always surprised when hearing about what others think of our wine, or perhaps how some artists have reached prestigious galleries. These are reminders of the creativity and warmth that our culture carries, and it resonates with me because it’s about celebrating identity and sharing it with others. 

__What does representation in gaming and streaming spaces mean to you? __

For me, representation in streaming means that people can see themselves in the community, whether that’s through language, culture, or background. As a Chilean/Hispanic streamer, it’s important to me to bring that part of my identity into my content, because when I was growing up, I didn’t always see many Latin American voices in gaming spaces, more specifically in Destiny 2. Representation to me means creating room for diversity, so someone watching can feel, “Hey, there’s a place for me here too”. 

__Are there elements of your heritage that inspire your creativity or the way you approach content creation? __

I think that the closest aspect of a cultural element present in my content would be playfulness and good vibes. Over here, people are very extroverted, playful and somewhat perceived as cheerful or not so serious. I try to always set the tone in a more chill and playful manner rather than strictly bind to the main game objectives. Sure, there are moments where we are locked in, but when we are not, I love sharing memes, watching some funny game related videos and sharing some relatable moments or stories. 

__If you could pass along one message during Hispanic Heritage Month to the wider Destiny community, what would it be?__ 

Although language is always going to be a strong barrier, gaming shouldn’t be, as it is best defined as common grounds. My message would be to take the opportunity to visit different communities or content creators. You would be surprised how many here make a large effort to close that language gap. 

Outside of games, we are all people that come from different places or cultures. Getting to know each other in a more personal way and understanding each person’s origin makes this place so much better and welcoming to those who may feel a bit more insecure. 

__Any advice for someone thinking about joining a future fundraising campaign in support of the Bungie Foundation? __

I say just do it. You can start little and there is a huge platform that makes it easy and fun for some people to do this. It doesn’t need to be something large, but keep in mind, what is being done is meaningful, and eventually it will hit you positively. 

Believe in the cause, forget about being so stiff. Be open to do silly stuff, or assume that things might run sloppy, or that communication will be troublesome with different collaborators. At the end of the day, it’s just a game, but we do this because we believe in the cause.

We are so deeply thankful for your generosity and trust in The Bungie Foundation’s mission. We heard from so many community members throughout our Bungie Day campaign that giving back and offering a helping hand to others comes second nature to gamers who spend their time playing as Guardians working together to save humanity. Bungie Day 2025 raises over $1,500,000

__Tell us a little about yourself and the content you create.  __

My name is Vurya, I am a creator from the US who focuses on PvP games. Every weekend that Trials of Osiris comes around, you can expect to see me in the playlist helping people get max rewards from the Lighthouse chest, all while making sure they enjoy their Trials experience as much as possible. Anytime challenging PvE content comes out, such as contest mode events, I enjoy running those as well! Overall, I'm just having a good time streaming and hanging out with everyone in chat! 

__Congrats on the Seventh Column Chaos win! What was your experience playing in the tournament and how great did it feel to come out as champs?  __

Thank you! The experience was great! I had a great time and the tournament layout really helps with that, the first two rounds being spread between multiple weeks really helps with not making things overwhelming. The semis and finals being on the same day really sets the atmosphere and makes it more exciting to play in. Coming out on top was a great feeling, my team played great throughout the whole tournament and it really showed with the undefeated run. Overall a surreal feeling knowing that the tournament is all centered around a charity I heavily support and is for a great cause. 

__We raised $320k during the livestream! What does it say about the Destiny community that they routinely show up so big for charity?  __

It really shows how generous the community can be! If I remember correctly the main goal was hit before the matches even began and that was crazy to see! The Destiny community never disappoints when it comes to charity. 

__What was the toughest match up your team had?  __

I’d personally say the first round just because I had no idea what to expect going into it! It was a coin toss to decide the rules and it was the first time ever playing with my teammates. The unknown was what made it a tough match for me and at the end of it, it was an incredible experience. The builds we prepped for each mode really pulled us through! 

__Any strats you put together that helped survive the Chaos?  __

No real strats could prepare you for the chaos, as you never know what’s coming next. My team and I were just ready to adapt to the modifiers, some classes play better with different modifiers! There’s so many different things you can use in Destiny, so to instantly begin thinking of ways to give yourself a slight advantage in whatever modifier is given was key. 

__Why do you choose to support and fundraise for the Bungie Foundation?__  

I choose to support the Bungie Foundation because of their devotion to really help children going through tough challenges. Particularly, their use of bringing entertainment to children's lives. I will always take every chance I get to fundraise because I know that everything makes a difference, even just speaking about the impact of the Bungie Foundation. 

__What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you?__  

Being a Lightkeeper to me means to brighten people's days whenever possible. As a streamer, it's a reminder to me to use entertainment as a way to make everyone’s day better. To perfectly encapsulate what it means to be a Lightkeeper, it's to be that light that people need if it ever gets a little too dark. It's very fitting for the title Lightkeeper. 

__What's your favorite Destiny gaming moment?  __

Easily The Burnout weekend after the Witch Queen Trials rework. My bestfriend Mistreated and I went flawless 113 times that weekend! Our goal was to see how many we could do in a weekend and we actually ended up with the record! All of it was streamed from start to finish, we would stream for 20 hours and sleep for 4. We heavily prepared for this and our friends really made a difference in helping us reach this goal. Sometimes we were just too tired and needed a little bit of babysitting and our community helped remind us to keep healthy and kept us company. As you can imagine, playing for that long led to a lot of funny moments that our community heavily enjoyed and we made a lot of unforgettable memories! 

__What keeps you coming back to Destiny and its community year after year?__  

The friendships I’ve made and the community I’ve built alongside my bestfriend. I’m a big PvP player and there’s almost no mode in any other game that excites me as much as Trials of Osiris. On the PvE side I really love the Contest mode activities as well, seeing the whole community come together and try to beat an activity all at once is always exciting. 

__Is there a particular focus of the Bungie Foundation’s work that you feel especially close to or passionate about?__  

The Child’s Play Program. I personally feel like many people use games as an escape from the real world and sometimes as a way to truly express themselves. So to give kids something to focus on as fun as video games or even to just make new friends that share a similar interest is amazing. 

__Any advice for someone thinking about joining a future fundraising campaign like Bungie Day?__ 

My best piece of advice would honestly be just do it! If you even have a thought of fundraising it is worth it. Everything makes a difference no matter how much is individually raised and you never know how big of an impact you can really make until you try!

__Tell us a little about yourself and the content you create. __

My name is Hugz! I am an FPS content creator from the UK with a focus on Destiny 2! I've been playing FPS games ever since I was 9, starting with CoD. I always loved the competitive nature of FPS games and being better than the enemy to win. I aim to create high skill gameplay with a friendly, welcoming deminer where everyone in chat can be themselves and I can too. I want to be the streamer that feels like that mate at university that you can always hang out with. 

__Why do you choose to support and fundraise for the Bungie Foundation? __

I chose to support the Bungie Foundation as I wanted to use my platform to make an impact for those people in need. What the Bungie Foundation does is such a great cause so being a Bungie focused streamer it was a no brainer to do some good. 

__What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you?__

Being a Lightkeeper to me means providing good whenever possible, no matter how big or small. 

__Why do you think the Bungie Foundation’s mission resonates so strongly with the Destiny community? __

I think because a lot of Destiny players are much older than most player bases. We have all grown up since Destiny 1, we have lost family, friends, loved ones. So when us players have an opportunity to help someone out there suffering, we remember those we have lost and want to do good for the next person, so another mother or father doesn't have to go through the loss we have. 

__If you could add one chaos modifier to this year’s tourney, what would it be?__

I would add a no ability rule, no super, no grenade or powered melee. Just straight guns as the gunplay in Destiny is amazing and we should focus on that whenever possible. 

__How are you feeling heading into this year’s tournament?__

__What's your favorite Destiny gaming moment? __

Probably helping carry a viewer’s 7-year-old son to the Flawless Lighthouse chest for the first time! He played really well and i remember his dad telling me how excited he was seeing his armor glow AND he also got one of the Trials ships too which he really wanted. 

__What keeps you coming back to Destiny and its community year after year?__

What keeps me coming back is how addicting the gunplay is and how friendly the community can be at times. Trials of Osiris is one of the best game modes I have ever played in my FPS journey. It is such a unique and competitive experience that keeps me and many others coming back. 

__Is there a particular focus of the Bungie Foundation’s work that you feel especially close to or passionate about?__

I think the Childs Play portion of the program. I grew up feeling isolated a lot in school and as a kid so I turned to video games for all my issues and used them as a way to escape from whatever the day’s problems were. So, the fact these children in hospitals can play games with others in the hospital and have fun with each other and escape what they are feeling, I resonate with that deeply. 

__Any advice for someone thinking about joining a future fundraising campaign like Bungie Day?__

My advice would be to just do it! There is zero downside to doing a fundraising campaign as no matter how much you raise or donate it will all add up and help support these Children in need.

Hey guys, I’m Brotherhood a creator based in New Zealand!! I grew up playing games with dad and brother and found Destiny after hearing some friends talk about it at school. I’ve been a massive Destiny fan since the Beta for Destiny 1 and have played ever since. I focus on providing help for harder end game content like raids, especially when a new raid is released. Otherwise, you can find me having a laugh with friends on stream and just being a goofball. 

__Why do you choose to support and fundraise for the Bungie Foundation? __

I choose to support the foundation because I believe my community has the same love and passion for the cause and can help make a positive change for those who need it the most. Knowing our community is making an amazing change in the world is an awesome feeling, so proud of this community and the things we can achieve with a bit of positivity and love  

__What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you? __

Being a Lightkeeper to me means to take initiative to help make a change and brighten someone’s day by providing them with the entertainment we are fortunate to have. This community I have formed has shown that we can make a difference for those in need and seeing everyone smile shows that all this hard work we do is paying off and I’ll happily do this over and over again to help put a smile on someone’s face. I’m beyond proud to be a Lightkeeper, it’s something I will forever hold close to me.  

__Why do you think the Bungie Foundation’s mission resonates so strongly with the Destiny community? __

I think it resonates strongly with the Destiny community because we are all kids at heart and many know what it’s like to face hard times in life. Destiny is all about hope and has always been a platform to help others and we are carrying that from in game to the real world. Going from helping New Lights in game to helping Little Lights in real life as well. As a creator who focuses on helping people in game, it’s amazing to have the ability to carry that into the real world and share a bit of that Destiny hope with the rest of the world to help brighten someone’s day! 

__If you could add one chaos modifier to this year’s tourney, what would it be? __

I’ve always been a massive fan of cursed modifiers like inverted aim or a low/high sensitivity. So, if I had the ability to make everyone do one of those I would 100% make them do inverted aim it makes for some amazing content watching creators try find their way around a map with an inverted aim. 

__How are you feeling heading into this year’s tournament? __

I feel pretty good, Team Exiles have been doing practice together here and there. It’s been a while since I have played PvP but it feels amazing to be back and I’m ready to take on Team Stranger Danger and give them my all. The team is in good spirits and excitement is high so we are excited to get going and will bring our all!! 

__What's your favorite Destiny gaming moment? __

It’s so hard to pick just one after 10+ years of Destiny. One that always stands out to me is meeting some of my first friends in the game through the tower in Destiny 1 and clearing my first Nightfall. Completing my first day one raid back in Destiny 1 as well. Moments where I can help people achieve their first clear for a raid or ever just messing around with friends will always make amazing moments in the game. 

__What keeps you coming back to Destiny and its community year after year? __

The friendship I’ve made and this amazing community I’ve built along with having something to grind whether it be weapon rolls, DLC prep or even just helps. Seeing how much of an amazing community we have makes returning easy. This community will always keep me returning as we all continue to make fun memories together and in some cases life long friendships. 

__Is there a particular focus of the Bungie Foundation’s work that you feel especially close to or passionate about? __

Kids are bundles of joy and if we can to our part to help make a Little Lights’ day I will do whatever I can to help. We were all kids once and as a kid that grew up around video games, having the ability to help brighten someone’s day through gaming is such an amazing opportunity and I’ll do it over and over again. Bungie Foundation and our communities will always surprise me with how loving and caring they are for this cause as all our communities rally together to help the Little Lights. 

__Any advice for someone thinking about joining a future fundraising campaign like Bungie Day? __

Genuinely just be yourself and have fun. Celebrate every donation and milestone you reach, they all matter regardless of the amount. At the end of the day, it goes to an amazing cause and every little bit helps. Remember to always be proud of what you are doing as well as showing the community the love you have for it and it will be shown back. Don’t give up and keep grinding for the Little Lights.

Hey, I'm Germain, a 38-year-old from France, and I've been creating Destiny content on YouTube and Twitch since the game’s beta dropped back in 2014. I’m all about PvE, I love diving into those epic raids and challenges! Back in the Destiny 1 days, I was super into helping other players out and grinding for those World First completions, which was honestly such a thrill. Nowadays, my focus is on entertaining my community, bringing some smiles, and sharing a few laughs. I’ve had the chance to rep Destiny at a bunch of French events and WebTVs, and I’m really proud to have helped grow the community here. I’ve been through some tough times in my life, and honestly, I was always too stubborn to ask for help. It shaped who I am, but looking back, I think things could’ve been easier if I’d had some support. That’s why I’m so passionate about the Bungie Foundation. I get that a lot of people out there, especially kids and families, face things like disasters or serious illnesses where they don’t have a choice but to lean on others. I know how much that kind of help can mean. Supporting the Foundation through gaming is just such a cool way to make a difference. You’re playing a game you love, offering fun in-game incentives to viewers, and helping people at the same time. What’s better than that? 

__What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you? __

Honestly, being a Lightkeeper isn’t about the title or status for me. It’s cool, but that’s not the heart of it. What really hits home is the trust that Bungie and the community put in me. That feeling? It’s huge and means the world. Knowing we’re seen as a positive part of the Destiny community is something I’m super grateful for. 

__Why do you think the Bungie Foundation’s mission resonates so strongly with the Destiny community? __

I think the Bungie Foundation’s mission hits home for the Destiny community because so many of us get what it’s like to face struggles. Being a Guardian in the game is all about protecting others and stepping up to help, and that vibe just carries over into real life. The Foundation’s focus on supporting people through tough times really connects with players who see themselves as part of that “Guardian spirit.” It’s like, we’re out here saving the universe in-game, so helping out in the real world just feels right, I guess! 

__If you could add one chaos modifier to this year’s tourney, what would it be?__  

As someone who’s been playing shooters since the late ‘90s, I’m all about that old-school vibe. If I could add a chaos modifier to this year’s tourney, I’d go for something super stripped-down: no supers, no grenades, no abilities at all. Just pure gunplay, like back in the day. It’d be a fun way to test everyone’s raw skills and bring some classic shooter chaos to the mix! 

__How are you feeling heading into this year’s tournament? __

I’m hyped to jump into this year’s tournament, even though PvP isn’t my strong suit ! Let’s just say I’m a bit rusty! I’m leaning on my partner to bring some serious skills to the table, haha. For me, it’s all about the fun and entertainment now. I just want everyone watching to have a blast and enjoy the show. Good luck and have fun to all the other teams and captains out there. 

__What's your favorite Destiny gaming moment? __

Oh man, my favorite Destiny gaming moment has gotta be tied to end-game content. Back in the day, I was all in on World First raid races, chasing that top spot with my team. We nabbed a few wins, but honestly, we crashed and burned a lot too, haha! These days, I get a kick out of casting the World First races instead. Watching all these awesome teams battle it out to climb to the top is so much fun! it’s intense, and entertaining. Funny thing is, my favorite moments now are when I’m not even playing, just hyping up the action! 

__What keeps you coming back to Destiny and its community year after year? __ 

That’s a tough one to pin down, but Destiny’s been a huge part of my life. It was there for me during some really rough patches, and honestly, it’s shaped my career, both now and where I’m headed. The game gave me this boost of confidence in myself, and that’s huge. Plus, the community keeps me hooked. I see so many awesome Guardians coming back year after year, and some of them have been with me on this journey, like true friends. There’s just something special about the game, whatever the highs and lows in it, and the people that keep pulling me back. This is probably a mix of all those reasons and more!

Honestly, I’m not really a “kid person” in the usual sense, sometimes I joke that I’m not even sure I’m a “human person,” haha! But there’s something about the Bungie Foundation’s work that really hits me. I love how they use online charity, like gaming events, to make a difference. It feels like a way for me to stay connected to who I am while helping others. Kids especially get me, because they didn’t choose to be in tough spots, you know? They’re just starting out, and they deserve support to grow into awesome people, especially when they can’t handle things on their own. And the disaster relief stuff? That’s huge too. Nobody can control when life throws a curveball like that, and I’d want someone to have my back in those moments i bet, so I’m all about helping out there too !

I truly believe that my community and I have the ability to make a meaningful difference through charity events. I’d love to add a modifier that revolves around heavy use of Shatterdive, something that really encourages or even requires it throughout the event. As a proud Shatterdive main, I know firsthand how chaotic (and fun) things can get when you slam down on your enemies. 

__How are you feeling heading into this year’s tournament?  __

I’m incredibly excited! There are so many strong teams ready to bring chaos this year.. and I’m definitely one of them. The energy is high, the competition is fierce, and I can’t wait to jump in. It’s time to #BunUp and go for the win! 

__Any friendly rivalries we should know about?__

There are definitely a few friendly rivalries, and I have to admit—it would feel pretty great to come out on top against them. One that stands out is Calzotron, he’s a skilled player and it would feel great winning over him.  

__What's your favorite Destiny gaming moment? __

It’s tough to pick just one—there have been so many unforgettable moments over the years. Solo flawlessing my first dungeon was an incredible feeling of accomplishment. Learning how to shatterskate was also a highlight—it felt amazing to finally pull it off. And who could forget the chaos of yeeting Rhulk into the abyss? But honestly, some of my favorite memories are the simple ones, like laughing uncontrollably with a friend in the Destiny 1 Tower—no words, just pure joy. It’s those shared moments that make the game so special. 

__What keeps you coming back to Destiny and its community year after year? __ 

Honestly, it’s the grind and the friendships. Destiny constantly challenges me to improve, experiment with new builds, and push my limits. I love how creative the game allows you to be—whether you're trying out something extremely difficult or something more accessible, there's always room to grow and explore. But more than anything, it's the community. I've made lifelong friends through this game, and that sense of connection is a huge part of what keeps me coming back.

The Little Lights Program really stands out to me. Children are rays of sunshine, and the impact the Bungie Foundation makes in their lives is truly inspiring. Supporting those Little Lights means so much, not just to me, but to the entire community. I’m always amazed at how the Destiny Community rallies together during charity events. Even after all these years, it’s clear how strong, compassionate, and united this community really is.

Be yourself and have fun with it. Set some goals to guide your campaign, but don’t stress too much about hitting every milestone. What matters most is supporting a great cause. Hi. I'm KleanPlays. I enjoy PVP and focus on making PVP fun for everyone. As a former Pro Coach of Halo 3, former Hockey Agent, and now a Dad, I enjoy seeing others improve and achieve their goals. 

__Why do you choose to support and fundraise for the Bungie Foundation? __

Simply put, I believe in their mission.  Everyone deserves some downtime, especially those individuals or children fighting life-threatening illnesses.  When the Bungie Foundation expanded to disaster relief, I believe in that initiative too! As long as I have an audience, even if it's just one person, I will use my voice to do good and I know the Bungie Foundation will be there to give me the resources I need to do so. 

__What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you? __

I think a Lightkeeper is somebody who embodies the Foundation's mission and spreads awareness even when they aren't actively fundraising.  That we are beacons scattered throughout the community that anyone can come to if they want to join the cause! 

__Why do you think the Bungie Foundation’s mission resonates so strongly with the Destiny community? __

Their message is relatable and that alone makes us want to be involved.  They make you feel rewarded for doing good in so many ways as fundraisers and donors.  They also do an amazing job partnering with the right individuals and charitable partners. 

__If you could add one chaos modifier to this year’s tourney, what would it be? __

I have so many ideas! I think a double inverted snipers only modifier would be fun. But if I could have anything, I would love to see everyone have to play by looking in a mirror to see their screen.  It would be absolute chaos. 

__How are you feeling heading into this year’s tournament? __

Unprepared. Last year’s tournament I learned a lot and there is no preparing for the unexpected.  It's uncomfortable but it’s going to be so much fun! 

__Any friendly rivalries we should know about? __

No. Big Hugz to our first round opponents though.  Here's hoping Omlet and Salt don't eat us for breakfast. 

__What's your favorite Destiny gaming moment? __

There isn't one moment or even a group of moments.  Destiny has spanned major milestones in my life from buying a house to my kids being born and so much more.  I've grown alongside so many others and experienced their life milestones too.  When I think of Destiny it all immediately comes to mind. Thank you Devs. 

__What keeps you coming back to Destiny and its community year after year? __

The people. The community. The charity. And no other 1st person PVP game has felt like Destiny. 

__Is there a particular focus of the Bungie Foundation’s work that you feel especially close to or passionate about? __

The Little Lights (formerly iPads for Kids) initiative for sure.  Every kid deserves to be a kid. As a parent, you think about the worst-case scenarios way more than you ever want to. Knowing if my kid was stuck in long term care, going through something terrible on a regular basis, that a program exists to give him even a moment of normalcy, I would do anything for that moment. 

__Any advice for someone thinking about joining a future fundraising campaign like Bungie Day?__ 

DO. IT. The Bungie Foundation campaigns are some of, if not the simplest to start. They give you incentives to get started. They reward you for fundraising. __Tell us a little about yourself and the content you create. __

Hi! I'm Snaevo, or Snae for short. I'm 34, I'm a jack of all trades type Guardian, and enjoy just about all Destiny 2 content, both PvE and PvP (and yes, Gambit too). I stream on Twitch and post the occasional short video if the mood strikes. I've been playing games all my life, but Destiny has taken most of my focus in the last several years. 

__Why do support and fundraise for the Bungie Foundation? __

I choose to support the Bungie Foundation because they have so many different causes that I connect with. Mental health, children's hospitals, disaster relief, supporting our veterans, and so much more. I see the Bungie Foundation helping so many good causes each year and it continues to be something I want to be a part of. 

__What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you? __

Being a Lightkeeper to me is mostly just deciding to stand up and being active. Whether it's a community member or creator, coming together to support each other and the many initiatives happening each year.  

__Why do you think the Bungie Foundation’s mission resonates so strongly with the Destiny community? __

I think the mission resonates with the Destiny community because there have been so many stories and examples of people being helped through the community's engagement. We see the impact we have had and continue to have, and that goes a long way. 

__What was your experience like as a player in last years' Seventh Column Chaos Tournament? __

Besides getting knocked in the first round? But in all seriousness, I honestly had a lot of fun. The modifiers spiced things up and kept each round exciting. Definitely added some chaos. Coming together in the newly formed Bungie Foundation discord to work on our Tiltify campaigns and have some light-hearted trash talk was a great experience. I'm excited to see what sorts of things are in store this year! 

__If you could add one chaos modifier to this year’s tourney, what would it be?__

This one's for Jarrod: Slappers Only. 

__How are you feeling heading into this year’s tournament? __

Some of these teams are like the Avengers assembling, so that's pretty frightening (looking at you BFFs and Stranger Danger) but I'm excited to get with my team and get in the ring. The tournament itself is for fun, so I plan to have fun with it! 

__Any friendly rivalries we should know about? __

Both of my previous teammates (Hugz and Djbj) are on new teams this year. So it would be interesting to have the chance to play against them this year. But my true rival is KleanPlays. He's the only person who does more dad jokes than me, so I have to show him up. 

__What's your favorite Destiny gaming moment? __

Getting my first day 1 raid has always been a major high point in Destiny. Deep Stone Crypt was the first day 1 I ever attempted, and was so much fun figuring out while going in blind with my team. I still have nightmares of: "Status: CALAMITOUS" 

__What keeps you coming back to Destiny and its community year after year? __

Mostly the world of Destiny. Even taking the short breaks I've needed to take here and there have always lead to me coming back. If nothing else, just to see where we have gone and where we will still go. It's been a major source of entertainment of mine and I'll be sad when it comes to an end. 

__Is there a particular focus of the Bungie Foundation’s work that you feel especially close to or passionate about? __

Having had young family members who have directly benefitted from Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and St. Jude leads me to feel closest to the Little Lights mission. I've seen how stressful and scary the hospital can be for children, so anything that can help reduce those is massively important to me. 

__Any advice for someone thinking about joining a future fundraising campaign like Bungie Day? __

Every bit helps. Whether you are top fundraiser, or just doing your part as a community member raising within your friends and family, every bit truly helps us as a community for the greater good. The best time to start giving back and doing your part is today.

Hello, my name is Ilse and I have loved video games ever since I was a kid. Gaming for me was always a way to escape the reality of what was going on and immerse myself in the world of the game. Now, I enjoy streaming on Twitch whether it is normal Destiny 2 shenanigans or making a mess in my kitchen. I always hope I make someone's day brighter while creating a safe space.  

__Why do you choose to support and fundraise for the Bungie Foundation? __

I choose to support and fundraise for the Bungie Foundation because when the game you grew to love over the years has the ability to help change lives for others, why not use that avenue to change at least one person's life for the better. 

__What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you? __

Being a Lightkeeper to me means, the keeper of hope. Hope to live, to feel heard, to be seen. If I can provide that to someone, then that hope lives on. 

__Why do you think the Bungie Foundation’s mission resonates so strongly with the Destiny community? __

I believe the reason the Bungie Foundation's mission resonates so well within the Destiny community is probably due to many factors but we are a tight-knit community. Some of us were from Destiny 1 days or joined in Destiny 2 but we share similar experiences of losing a loved one over cancer or wanting to be heard.    

What was your experience like as a player in last years' Seventh Column Chaos Tournament? 

My experience in last year's Seventh Column Chaos Tournament as a player was fun! I was nervous at first but each week had different modifiers that made for goofy and chaotic games. I was practicing my trace rifle shot, like I never thought I would be playing laser tag again in Destiny 2. 

__If you could add one chaos modifier to this year’s tourney, what would it be? __

If I got to choose a modifier.. I mean I've been maining blink warlock in PvP for about a year and I love glaives in PvE. Would it be toxic to make everyone blink and glaive only? Maybe that is a little TOO extreme.. 

__How are you feeling heading into this year’s tournament? __

I am looking forward to all the crazy chaos that we are about to embark on this summer. I feel confident in Team Forget It, let’s just hope we do not forget our call outs. 

__What's your favorite Destiny gaming moment? __

My favorite Destiny gaming moment has to be taking the courage to say "Yes" to two guardians in my Destiny 1 tower that wanted to do the Crota's End raid. This interaction opened a whole new world of Destiny that I never got to experience before running into them. Prior to this interaction I used to patrol Venus and would help teams open the Vault of Glass door with the hopes that one day I would enter that raid. Now, here we are.   

__What keeps you coming back to Destiny and its community year after year? __

Honestly, I do love all the space magic but my friends and memories I have created and continued too definitely influence my Destiny experience.   

__Is there a particular focus of the Bungie Foundation’s work that you feel especially close to or passionate about? __

The amazing work that the Bungie Foundation does with their Little Lights Program. The thought of making one child's day to day better with videogames is awesome. All of the charities the Bungie Foundation have introduced to the Destiny community are wonderful and doing amazing things to better people's lives. Each in their own ways are changing lives for the better. 

__Any advice for someone thinking about joining a future fundraising campaign like Bungie Day? __

Be ready for anything and remember to have fun!

__Tell us a little about yourself and the content you create. __

My name is Sam/Diffizzle I’m 24 and I primarily make Destiny 2 PvP content for a living. I started gaming when I was 4 years old playing Halo: Combat Evolved and instantly fell in love with Bungie games. Much later after that they ended up releasing Destiny when I was 13, and I’ve been playing ever since.  

__Why do you support and fundraise for the Bungie Foundation?  __

It gives me the opportunity to support great charities while also getting some cool stuff for myself and my community.  

__What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you? __

I see it as a incredible blessing. We have the ability to help people that are typically going through the lowest and darkest points in their lives which is usually when that help makes the most difference.  

__Why do you think the Bungie Foundation's mission resonates so strongly with the Destiny Community? __

Emblems… on a serious note I think the Destiny community at the end of the day is an incredibly empathetic, caring, tight knit community that Bungie has spent decades fostering, so helping people that are in need is par for the course at this point.  

__You were part of the winning team in last year’s Seventh Column Chaos tournament— what was that experience like? __

Well I was extremely lucky to have been given two great teammates. One of which I used to play in community tournaments with beforehand so the plot armor felt pretty strong. Regardless of that though, modifiers made what I expected to be a very smooth experience very much not smooth, which I hope made for great viewing! It was an honor to get to play in the tournament and be a part of helping causes that probably do more important work than I’ll ever do in my lifetime.  

__If you could add one chaos modifier to this year's tourney, what would it be?__ 

Hand cannon and pellet shotgun only. 

__How are you feeling heading into this year’s tournament? __

Not as confident as last year but I think guapogary, bulker and I can hopefully give it a good run! 

__Any friendly rivalries we should know about?  __

Too many if I’m being honest LOL. I’ve got Aiiygatorz saying she is going to fry my chicken, Alexape saying he is winning the whole thing and Omlet hasn’t really said anything but his team is definitely the team to beat.  

__What’s your favorite Destiny gaming moment? __

I have so many given I’ve spent almost half of my life playing Destiny at this point, but unironically I’d say it’s the friends I made along the way. Like so many dreams, interactions and experiences were possible because of Destiny. I don’t think any other game will ever be able to do that for me.  

__Any advice for someone thinking about joining a future fundraising campaign like Bungie day?  __

My advice would be to figure out some goals that are enticing for your community and have good understanding of the fundraising campaign you’re promoting so you can speak about it at a deep level.

*Hey Light Keepers, I'm Michael/Jansten AKA Destiny Emblem Collector (DEC) and I've been a member of the Bungie Foundation for ten years of Destiny, six years of DEC, and four years of fundraising!*

__What’s the origin story behind the Destiny Emblem Collector website?__

I've always wanted to help people in whatever way I can and I wanted to find a way to help people with my knowledge and love of emblems.  I remember seeing an article that told people way back in the Destiny 1 pre-Vault and pre-Collections days that they could get an emblem by deleting their Gjallarhorn.  I wanted to create a reference site to gather all the emblem knowledge and make sure that knowledge stays up-to-date and verified.  I also wanted to try to find ways to alert people to emblems that are only around for a limited time, largely because I'm still sad I didn't get Brick By Brick.

__How many Destiny emblems have you personally unlocked?__

Best I can tell I've unlocked 676 emblems so far! 

__What’s your favorite Destiny emblem?__

That's a tough question!  I'll pick one from each Destiny game and try to keep myself to just those two.  Destiny 1 I always loved "Blessing of Worlds," I love how clean it is and the purple color in the background.  For Destiny 2, one of my favorites is First To the Forge; I love how this one looks in game, especially at the top of the character screen.  I could probably go on for a long time about how many great emblems there are (DEC tracks over 1,200 emblems!), but these are two of my favorites.

__What emblem took you the longest to obtain?__

Warminded, hands down.  I didn't even need to look this one up.  I spent so, so much time on Mars opening Sleeper Nodes and trying to get that one last Node that I just couldn't get.

__What inspired you to start supporting the Bungie Foundation?__

In the interest of helping people, I started to fundraise for the Bungie Foundation to try to help those that are in need through the work the Bungie Foundation does.  I was initially drawn to the Little Lights program and wanted to support that especially.

__What keeps you motivated to use your platform for good?__

I'm motivated by the messages that donors leave during their donations about how we can all help The Little Lights along with seeing how much the money we raise can help those around the world that need help in difficult times.

__How has your involvement with the Bungie Foundation impacted your community?__

I think it's had such a positive impact on my community!  I've seen so many people joining together to donate money towards the various fundraisers that take place during the year and help the Bungie Foundation with the causes they support.  And we can get some very cool incentives too (like emblems, of course)!

__Can you share a memorable moment or story from your fundraising efforts?__

I remember Jarrod on stage during one of the livestreams announcing that myself, Leopard, and Marruk (from the awesome Trials Report) had all reached $100,000 raised at the same time.  It was wild hearing my site's name on a stream like that!

__Why do you believe the Bungie Foundation's mission is important for the Destiny community?__

I think the Bungie Foundation's mission aligns with a core part of the Destiny community's goal: helping those in need.  Whether it's helping someone during a flood, or following around a Guardian Rank 1 New Light in the Cosmodrome, or showing your friend how to do a dungeon they've never done before, I think that all Guardians want to help each other, especially when they need help the most.

__How does the foundation's work align with your personal values or goals as a creator?__

As I've said above, I really want to help people however I can, just like the Bungie Foundation does.  I think that's what drew me to the work that the Bungie Foundation does originally and what keeps me fundraising for them every year.

__What message would you like to share with your audience about the importance of supporting the Bungie Foundation?__

Every dollar helps!  I see people apologizing for donating $7 during an event and that's not something to apologize for!  For an organization like the Bungie Foundation, they can do so, so much with every dollar that gets donated, much more than we realize.  And if 100 or 1,000 people donate $7, that's a lot of money that can be used to help those in need.

__What do you think it says about the Destiny community that they are so supportive of the Bungie Foundation’s work?__

I think it shows how incredible the Destiny community is in supporting those that are in need around the world.  And it's incredible that the amount raised during each fundraiser keeps going up every time!

__When did you start playing Destiny / get involved with the community?__

I started to play Destiny when the first game was launched; I still remember my wife and I seeing the original E3 trailer for Destiny and pre-ordering PS4s and copies of the game on the spot. I've been playing Destiny 1 and 2 constantly since the game launched.  I originally started Destiny Emblem Collector (DEC) during 2019 and it's grown a ton since the site opened! 

__Favorite Destiny gaming moment?__

One of my favorites was my raid team (shoutouts to The Semi-Serious Raid Group!) clearing Deep Stone Crypt for the first time.  We're all parents so we don't get a lot of time to raid each week, so clearing DSC as our first raid as a team was amazing! 

__Is there a particular focus of the Bungie Foundation’s work that you feel especially close to or passionate about?__

The Little Lights program is the program that I feel especially passionate about.  When a child needs to stay as a patient for any amount of time is stressful and being able to support the child with something familiar like an iPad while supporting their entertainment and educational needs at the same time is amazing.

__What do you hope to achieve through your continued support of the Bungie Foundation?__

I hope that the amazing and generous DEC community can continue to raise as much money as we have been able to in support of the Bungie Foundation's work!  There are so many great causes that the Bungie Foundation supports in support of their mission and I'm so happy to be able to fundraise in support of the Bungie Foundation.

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS (“Official Rules”)

GAME 2GIVE Social Media Engagement Contest (the “Contest”) is powered by Bungie, Inc. (the “Sponsor”) in support of Bungie Foundation. The Contest starts on December 19th, 2024, at 12:00 PM PST (the “Contest Opening Date”). The Contest closes when the engagement milestones for the contest have been reached (7,777 engagements across social media) or at 11.59 PM PST on December 31, 2024 (the “Contest Closing Date”) if the milestones are not hit. There will be a random draw at 5 PM PT on December 19, 2024, amongst all eligible entries. 

## 1.ELIGIBILITY: 

The Contest is open to all individuals who have reached the age of majority in their country, state, province and territory of their residence at the time of entry. All other entrants under the age of majority will require parental consent to participate in the Contest. Subject to the age limitation provided above, entrants who are under the age of majority in their country, state, province and territory of residence at the date of entry are still eligible to enter the Contest and win a Prize provided that the parent or legal guardian of the entrant accepts the Prize and the terms and conditions hereof for and on behalf of such entrant and completes the required Declaration and Release Form (as further outlined below). 

Employees of Sponsor or of Sponsor's affiliates and their immediate family are ineligible.

Each engagement is an entry into the contest. No purchase or donations are necessary to participate.  

## 3.PRIZING 

There are two (2) grand prizes consisting of the Scientia Illuminata emblem, as well as thirty (30) secondary prizes consisting of a code for the MAGNETOSONIC WAVES Destiny 2 emblem. These are digital account entitlements within the game Destiny 2, and have no monetary value. The Scientia Illuminata emblem will be applied directly to the Bungie Accounts of the grand prize winners, and are permanently account-linked. The Magnetosonic Waves emblem codes, once redeemed to a Bungie Account, will also be permanently account-linked.

The Prize must be accepted as awarded without substitution and is not refundable, for resale or convertible to cash. Alternatively, the winner may transfer the prize to an immediate family member who complies with these rules. The Sponsor bears no liability relating to the prize once it is delivered. If the selected entrant for the Prize forfeits the Prize, it may be awarded to another entrant, at the sole option of the Sponsor. 

The Sponsor reserves the right, in the event that the Prize, or any component of the Prize, cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute the same for another prize or component of equal or greater value, without liability. 

Any matters concerning Prize that are not contemplated by these Official Rules, will be determined by sponsor at its sole discretion. Expenses not specifically stated as included in the Prize are the sole responsibility or the Prize winners. 

The odds of winning the Prize will depend on the total number of eligible social media engagements received during the Contest Period. 

In addition, Participants from Canada may be required to correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question at a pre-arranged, mutually convenient time prior to being confirmed a prize winner.

## 4.CLAIMING YOUR PRIZE 

Prize claims are subject to verification. On December 19, 2024, at 5:00 PM PST  a random draw will be held from among all eligible entries received by the contest closing date for all the prizes listed on Schedule 3 of these Rules. Before releasing the prize, the Sponsor or an Independent Contest Administrator will contact all the selected entrants via social media DM within one (1) days from the draw date. The selected entrant will be required to respond with their Bungie ID to grant the digital prizes. 

## 5.GENERAL

Any attempted form of participation in this Contest other than as described herein is void and will result in disqualification, and if such person is selected as a potential winner, revocation of his/her Prize. The Contest Group reserves the right to disqualify any individual found, to be tampering with the operation of the Contest, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike manner or with the intent to disrupt the normal operation of the Contest. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed, third-party or like methods to participate in the Contest will void any attempted participation effected by such methods and will result in the disqualification of the individual utilizing the same. In the event of a conflict between the Official Rules and any instructions or interpretations of these Official Rules given by an employee of the Sponsor regarding the Contest, these rules shall prevail. The Contest Group respects your right to privacy. Personal information collected from entrants will only be used by the Contest Group to administer the Contest and, only if consent is actively given at the time of entry, to provide entrants with information regarding upcoming promotions and/or events, product news or special offers from the Contest Group. __Bungie Foundation Terms & Conditions __

These terms and conditions apply to any individual donor, fundraiser, or supporter of a Bungie Foundation event, campaign, and/or activation, including those hosted by third party organizations through which Bungie Foundation is a partner or officially recognized participant. 

1.	All donations made to the Bungie Foundation through an event or official fundraising campaign are non-refundable once any selected incentive has been delivered. This includes any digital item codes which are provided automatically via email through the Tiltify platform.

2.	Any official donation incentive provided by the Bungie Foundation for a specified amount may take up to 30 days to be delivered from the end of the campaign. Any physical rewards provided by the Bungie Foundation may take up to 90 days to be delivered.

3.	 The Bungie Foundation will not be held responsible for incorrect fulfilment information provided by donors or fundraisers, including errors in email or shipping addresses.

4.	The Bungie Foundation is not responsible for custom incentives provided by individual fundraisers. We will not issue refunds for donations made for custom incentives from individual fundraisers. It is the donor’s responsibility to verify that any custom incentive from an individual fundraiser is legitimate. We advise all donors to contact the fundraiser directly to confirm details of fulfillment for any custom incentive.

5.	Individual fundraisers may offer custom incentives as part of their campaigns and are solely responsible for the fulfillment of any custom incentive. The Bungie Foundation will not aid in the delivery of any custom incentive. 

6.	Any fundraiser found to be providing illegitimate incentives will have their campaign removed, be banned from future campaigns, and will lose any in game rewards earned through their fundraising campaign.

7.	Any fundraiser who posts explicit, hateful, or violent content on their fundraising campaign pages or corresponding social media posts and/or streams will have their campaign terminated, be banned from future events, and may lose any in game fundraising rewards. 

8.	All donors and fundraisers are expected to follow the Bungie Code of Conduct and EULA. Any individual found in violation of these policies will have their Tiltify accounts locked, be banned for future events, and may lose in-game rewards. Additionally, individuals who break this policy may be subject to in-game bans. 

9.	Any individual found to be engaging in fraudulent donation behavior will have all in- game incentives removed, be banned from future events, may have their in-game accounts banned, and may be reported to relevant authorities. 

10.	The Bungie Foundation reserves the right to alter a donation or fundraising incentive at any time, without notice. 

11.	The Bungie Foundation reserves the right to revoke any donation or fundraising incentive from any individual at any time, without notice. 

12.	Any individual who is offered to be featured by the Bungie Foundation is subject to the rules and restrictions of the specific activation. The Bungie Foundation reserves the right to remove an individual from any featured promotion or opportunity at any time, without notice. 


Terms & Conditions for Donors and Fundraisers

As part of this project the below data will be migrated into Tiltify, our new donation and fundraising platform:

- Personal data, including name, email, address
- Donation history, including amounts, dates, and campaigns
- Fundraising history, including campaigns and donations received

The below data is NOT collected and will NOT be migrated:
- Billing details and credit card information
- Any data from campaigns held by 3rd parties outside our DonorDrive platform (i.e. Kilts For Kids, Gauntlet, and Malama Maui donations).

The migration of the data will take place over several weeks and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2024. Once your data is migrated, you will receive a confirmation email with next steps.

__What do I do now?__

If you have not done so yet, please create a [Tiltify](https://tiltify.com/) account using the same email on DonorDrive. Once the data is migrated, you will need to login to Tiltify to claim your donation and fundraising history.

__When will I get lifetime rewards?__

Once the data migration is complete and you have claimed all donations and fundraising history, you will be able to claim any lifetime rewards you are eligible for.

Lifetime rewards __WILL NOT__ be manually granted to accounts before the data migration is complete.

__What data we collect about you__
When you make a donation, purchase a product, express an interest in supporting the Bungie Foundation, or subscribe to our online newsletter, the Bungie Foundation asks you for personal contact information such as your name, mailing address, phone number and e-mail address. We may use this contact information to provide you with a receipt or financial report, to contact you to clarify or obtain additional information about an order you placed, a donation you made, or to send you additional information about the Bungie Foundation.
If you make a donation, you may be contacted by us on occasion to offer you an opportunity to make another gift to our organization or one of our partner organizations. # Bungie Foundation x Team Rubicon: Clearing the Path

Earlier this summer, the Bungie Foundation partnered with Team Rubicon on a special wildfire mitigation operation, dubbed “A Day in the Park”, in Leavenworth, WA. A group of veterans and employees from Bungie trekked east through the Cascade Mountains to central Washinton for the weekend to get to work and help make a high-risk community more defensible against wildfires which affect the region every year. 

Over two days, the team from Bungie worked alongside volunteers from Team Rubicon to help prepare this community of homes for the fire season. The group removed over 1,600 dump trucks worth of debris by the end of the operation. 
An integral part of every Team Rubicon operation is the “campfire’. It is a time to reflect at the end of each day and allow veterans and volunteers alike to share from the heart. This simple act is one of the key reasons Team Rubicon is so impactful for veterans, allowing the group to unite over the common bond of service to others while finding the sense of camaraderie and understanding that many veterans seek after their return to civilian life.

Maui

On August 17th, 2023 we launched our Guardians for Maui campaign to support the people and communities in Maui who were affected by the devastating wildfires that broke out. A special T-shirt and emblem were designed for the campaign and all profits will go to our partner Direct Relief to support their recovery efforts. 

The campaign concluded on September 10th with over 18,000 shirts sold. Finally fundraising totals are still being calculated.

The Bungie Foundation had the pleasure to host Dr. Ted Kim's research team from Yale during our Bungie Week festivities. Dr. Kim's team came to Bungie HQ to meet with members of Black@Bungie, our Inclusion, Diversity, & Equity team, and several developers from Destiny 2 to discuss representation in games and the advances his team is making on the technology frontier.

This was Yale's first on-site visit with the Bungie team since the Bungie Foundation began its [5-year $1 million research grant](https://seas.yale.edu/news-events/news/donation-bungie-foundation-supports-anti-racist-graphics-research-yale) on Type-4 hair and to bring new tools and algorithms to the games industry. The progress the team has already made is remarkable and Bungie was able to share critical insight and challenges facing accurate representation in the digital space.

The 2023 edition of Bungie Day Giving Festival came to a close at the stroke of midnight on July 23rd raising $1,008,722 dollars during the two plus week campaign. The Bungie community showed its true heart and generosity during this year's campaign, exceeding the original $777,777 fundraising goal in just 10 days and continuing to push for a new milestone. 

The campaign was a huge success overall, highlighted by some very emotional and impactful moments including:

  - The first ever community emblem contest, with [one lucky winner's design](https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/article/twid_07_20_23) being chosen to appear in Destiny 2 at a later date as part of a future charity campaign.

  - Sharing Make-A-Wish kid Wyatt's emotional story and visit to Bungie HQ to meet with the dev teams of his favorite game.

  - Updates from Dr. Ted Kim and his team at Yale working on the Bungie Foundation 
funded research project to develop new technology for representing Type-4 hair in games.

  - Heaps of prizes and memorabilia to for donors to win

  - Special heartfelt thank you messages from Destiny voice actors and other celebs including: Nolan North, Danny Trejo, Erika Ishii, Todd Haberkorn, Mara Junot, Fred Tatasciore, and Wil Wheaton.

In the privacy settings, users can see a list of all the apps on their device and the types of data that each app has access to. Users can toggle the permissions for each app to allow or deny access to different types of data.
2.	App Permissions: When an app is installed, it may request access to certain types of data or resources on the device. Users can review and accept or reject these permissions before installing the app.
3.	App Notifications: Users can control the notifications that apps can send them by going to the "Settings" app and selecting "Notifications." In the notifications settings, users can see a list of all the apps on their device and toggle the notifications for each app on or off. 
4.	Location Services: Users can enable or disable location services on their device by going to the "Settings" app and selecting "Privacy" followed by "Location Services." Bungie Foundation hits the road!

Bungie Day is fasting approaching and will be held on July 7th, 2022! I look forward to it every year because it’s a holiday that was created by our community and is a celebration of everything that our community represents. Life-long friendships have grown, marriages have been proposed, countless victories have been shared together, and unbelievable stories have been shared. There is no community like ours and I’m endlessly proud and grateful to be a part of it.

Mateo's Story

Through the iPads for Kids program, we’ve had the great opportunity to partner with children's hospitals across the country. When we developed the program, we wanted to meet pediatric patients where they are at, whether they are coming in for a routine procedure and will spend a couple of hours in the hospital or whether they are struggling with a serious complication such as cancer treatment or rehab following a serious injury. We want kids to feel like they can be themselves by engaging in play like they would if they were home. But some things just aren't normal when a patient is in the hospital. It's important to us that we bring as much normalcy and joy to them as possible while they are dealing with fear, pain, boredom, uncertainty, and isolation. The robust, age-appropriate content we can provide thorugh our program enables us to provide meaningful support for pediatric patients and families. 

It fills us with joy when we see kids like Mateo from Nationwide Children's Hospital, who has been able to utlize the power of play to help him recover from a serious injury, and with a big smile on his face. Mateo’s mom states, "It’s been good for Mateo because he has to manipulate his hands and the iPad has allowed him to increase his range of motion. It’s also a good distraction and keeps him busy.” Mateo said the Lego game is his favorite.

Mateo's iPads for Kids Story

The Bungie Foundation is proud to announce that we have partnered with eight children’s hospitals across the country to advance our mission of reducing distress and suffering in children through entertainment with our iPads for Kids Program. We’ll be giving a full run-down of where we stand with all hospitals in our year-end wrap up next month, but we’d like to take a moment to share with you what we’ve been focusing on this past month.!

In late October, we took the trip from Seattle, WA to Dallas, TX to kick off our 30-day pilot of the iPads for Kids Program at Children’s [Health Dallas](https://www.childrens.com/). The team at Children’s Health has been a dream to work with as we prepared the many logistical components necessary to making the program operate with success. The installation of our first 24 iPads into Children’s Health’s Renal Unit was led by our very own Austin Schlichtman, iPads for Kids Program Specialist, and supported fully by the clinical team on the unit. Austin has led the technical logistics of every installation we’ve managed this past year and has gotten it down to a science.

Working with Christine Edwards, Sr. Foundation Manager, they were able to pre-plan every facet of the installation and map out their course of action before landing onsite at the hospital. CMCD’s amazing Project Manager coordinated the hospital’s IT, security, networking, and infection control teams to troubleshoot all tasks before the rollout. According to Austin, “Not only were we excited by the successful rollout!, but the nursing staff was quite excited themselves! Some of the nurses noted how happy and excited their patients looked when they received the iPads and how they quickly started to play games as soon as the devices were handed to them. The staff was very optimistic as it was their first time having this type of device installment and now they are very appreciative of the iPads for Kids Program.

Next up, our mission was accomplished all the way from New York City! We kicked off our pilot rollout at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. We are so grateful for our partnership with them as they are unlike any other hospital we have supported to date. Christine says, “St. Mary’s provides incredibly experienced and compassionate long-term care for children with very complex medical conditions. The majority of children that are referred to St. Mary’s will spend their lives at the hospital or their long-term care facilities and have special needs and life-limiting conditions.”

Because of their unique patient population, many children don’t have the strength to hold an iPad on their own. To solve this problem, we partnered with the Seattle-based company HatchMed to create custom wall-mounted tablet arms that met St. Mary’s requirements for their environment. One of HatchMed’s executives even joined us on our trip to the hospital to train St. Mary’s Building and Engineering team on how to install the arm. “The hospital’s clinical staff would walk by and would stop to admire what we were doing and were very interested in testing the tablet arm out. They expressed how excited they were that they iPads for Kids Program could provide for their unit’s specific needs,” says Austin. We look forward to deploying more iPads throughout the remaining units at St. Mary’s in the New Year!

 iPads for Kids Program Launches in New York and Texas! 

Since 2013, the Bungie Foundation has been privileged to support Make-A-Wish® Alaska and Washington in funding all electronic items for their wishes.  We absolutely love the creativity that wish kids have in coming up with their perfect wish.  To date, we have helped support approximately 110 wishes!

These wishes have ranged from decked out sensory playrooms for kiddos with cognitive impairments, to fully customized gaming PCs for kids who want to connect with their friends or make a splash on the YouTube scene, to eye-controlled and voice-activated laptops for kids with a physical disability.

Many of these wishes contain additional items that fall outside the scope of electronics.  These items must be funded by Make-A-Wish, which requires significant fundraising efforts.  This is the case for wish kid, Leighton.

Leighton is a sports loving 15 year old from Eastern Washington.  He used to love playing outside with friends until a rare heart condition required him to stop.  He’s now wishing to have his basement converted into a game room so that he can continue to play with his friends in the digital space.

The Bungie Foundation has the electronics covered, but we need your help to fund the rest of his wish!  Here’s a glimpse into what your dollars will help fund:


-    $600 – New couch
-    $500 – New carpet
-    $300 – Paint and painting supplies
-    $200 – New mini fridge for snacks 
-    $100 – Media storage unit for movies and DVDs
-    $75 – Framed posters of his favorite soccer player and team, Cristiano Ronaldo and the Barcelona soccer team, or his favorite TV Show, The Walking Dead
-    $50 – Board games: Apples to Apples, Monopoly, Speak Out, and more!
-    $25 – Snacks! He loves all candy, especially Sour Patch Kids!

For those with the means, please head to his fundraising page and support at $10 or more.  Every dollar counts!  If you have your eye on one of the bigger ticket items, consider going in on it with your friends or Destiny clanmates.  Share Leighton’s crowdfunding site on your social media to spread the word.  Any funds raised above the threshold for Leighton’s wish will support another kiddo with big dreams!

Help Bring a Make-A-Wish Kid's Dream to Life!

Every year, we don our tartans, heft some weapons, strike a pose, and go to war. As always, our enemies are the slings and arrows that come between the families of children seeking healthcare. You’re invited to become our ally in this fight, along with other warriors from the greater Seattle metropolitan area. 

Celebrating its sixth anniversary, the Men in Kilts fundraising competition raises funds for families staying at the Seattle Ronald McDonald House. Check out all the participants, and cast your vote for Team Bungie by donating $10 or more. Every $30 donated will pay for a family to stay at the House for one night.
