For those who may not know you — tell us a little about yourself and how you found your way into gaming and content creation.
Hai my name is Zwerg known as either the biggest thrower or the biggest Polar Bear lover in the world. I’m the short gamer that hopes to make those around me smile with my gaming fails. For my entire life I’ve always had this mission, to spread positivity and good energy to others. I want to brighten people’s days because the world can be such a cruel and negative place at times. And seven years ago I made it happen. I discovered live streaming through my brother who started streaming before me. In that moment, I knew I had found the perfect way to do what I’ve always wanted. However, it wasn’t easy. I’ve had to face one of my biggest obstacles, being shy. I’ve naturally been a shy person and even though my family supported me from the start, they didn’t think I’d stick with streaming because of that shyness. But I pushed past it, because my passion to spread positivity was stronger than any fear. I wanted to create a welcoming, safe space where people could hang out, feel comfortable, and have fun, no matter what was going on in the rest of the world.
I’m so thankful for the community I’ve built, they’re not only kind souls to me but incredibly welcoming to anyone new who joins. Their support never stops, and their jokes always make me laugh even if mine don’t always land, because I’m admittedly not the best at being funny! I’ve been playing video games since I was very young; it was something my brother and I bonded over and later on, was family bonding because yes, my entire family plays video games. Those moments were a comfort, a place where nothing else in the world mattered except the game we were playing. That’s the same feeling I hope to bring to my streams. a space where people can escape, have fun, and just enjoy themselves.
Marathon is finally here! What’s been your experience so far?
Marathon has been a breath of fresh air for me. It’s a game that feels both rewarding and chaotic at the same time. The mix of looting around every corner while always having to watch your back keeps the suspense high. You never know who’s lurking nearby. I also have to admit, I absolutely love that everyone turns into a loot gremlin (including myself). What I love most is how much control the game gives you by choosing which path you take, which fights you engage in, and how you approach them. Learning to navigate all of that has been challenging, but it’s also been incredibly fun to figure out and experience firsthand. There are endless decisions to make, each match feels unique in its own way, and that’s what keeps me coming back.
Which Runner shell is your favorite?
I actually started as Assassin (Void), and honestly, it makes a lot of sense. No matter the game, I’ve always loved invisible characters because they give you so many opportunities to flank enemies and surprise them. But when Marathon dropped and I tried other characters, I was shocked to discover that Assassin isn’t actually my favorite.
That spot went to Triage. He’s the healer, the more passive character focused on keeping the team alive, and he has the cutest little drones that attach to you and heal you. Playing Triage just feels comfortable, and he’s so important in a team. I always make sure my teammates have a smiling little drone hovering on their screen and use consumables whenever needed. So if you’re ever on my team, you can count on me to keep the heals going constantly! I just may need a reminder to put drones on myself as well because I’ll forget. And the ultimate? I haven’t mastered it so expect a lot of “oh no, I missed my ult” moments when I try to revive.

Why is fundraising for the Bungie Foundation important to you?
Fundraising for the Bungie Foundation is important to me because it’s a way to take something I love which is gaming and community, and turn it into a positive impact in the real world. Gaming has given me so much joy and comfort over the years, and I want to give back in a way that helps others access support, opportunities, and hope.
My community is full of kind, supportive people who love to lift each other up and fundraising for the Bungie Foundation lets us channel that energy into something bigger. Together, we can have fun, enjoy the games we love, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people who need it most. I know there are many challenges people face every day, and I want to help, even in small ways. Streaming and gaming are my passion, and my community working together to support the cause makes it truly special. Fundraising for the Bungie Foundation is a way to create impact and spread positivity beyond the screen.
What does being a Lightkeeper mean to you?
Being a Lightkeeper means being a person of positivity and support for others. Someone others can rely on or have a shoulder to lean on. It’s about creating even small acts of kindness which can make a difference, and being a Lightkeeper gives me the opportunity to bring that energy to others every day. Being a Lightkeeper is me. Spreading kindness, positivity, and support. It reminds me why I stream, why I love gaming, and why building a strong welcoming community matters.
Is there a particular focus of the Bungie Foundation’s work that you feel especially close to or passionate about?
One area of the Bungie Foundation’s work that I feel close to is the focus on supporting people and creating a sense of hope, especially for those going through difficult times. I’ve always believed in the importance of having a safe, positive space where you can escape, even if just for a little while, and that’s something gaming has always been for me.
That’s also what I try to create through my streams everyday, a place where people can feel supported, relaxed, and just be themselves. Which is why this area of the cause feels so important to me. Knowing that the Bungie Foundation is helping bring that same kind of comfort and support to others, whether it’s through health, humanitarian aid, or helping the kids, it makes it really meaningful for me to be involved.
Seeing my entire community come together and support in such ways brings me so much joy, I believe together we can change so much in this negative world.

What stands out to you about the Bungie Foundation community’s commitment to giving back? How does that shared passion turn gaming into something bigger?
What stands out to me about the Bungie Foundation community is how incredible it is to see the entire gaming community come together to support a cause. It’s the players, creators and communities all around the world coming together with the same goal of giving back. And that is powerful.
When people come together like that it shows that gaming isn’t just about entertainment, it’s about community, compassion, and supporting those who need it most.
What does Women’s History Month mean to you personally?
Women’s History Month, to me, is a time to celebrate and honor the incredible achievements of women both past and present. It’s a reminder of the strength and impact women have had in the world.
This month is very inspiring. It makes me think about the women who have influenced and supported me in my life and it motivates me to keep pushing forward, even when things feel challenging. Seeing women support each other, overcome obstacles, and succeed in many different areas especially gaming, encourages me to do the same. And support those around me through my journey.
It’s a reminder of how important supporting each other is, whether it’s to be heard and feel included, creating a safe and welcoming space, or simply just spreading positivity, Women’s History Month encourages me to continue building something meaningful not just for myself, but for others too.
As a woman in gaming, what has your journey been like?
As a woman in gaming, my journey has truly been one of the greatest experiences of my life. It’s brought me so much joy, purpose, and connection through both gaming and the community I’ve built. It’s a space where I’ve been able to be myself, share positivity, and create something meaningful with others.
At the same time, it hasn’t always been easy. I’ve faced obstacles that made me feel stuck at times and have dealt with a lot of judgement. Those moments can be very challenging, but they also shaped me. They made me stronger and more confident in who I am today and what I stand for.
Because of everything I’ve been through, I truly believe that any woman who wants to be in gaming should go for it. There is always a place for you and your voice matters. No matter the challenges, it’s worth doing what you love and I hope my journey can encourage others to do the same.
What barriers do you think still exist for women in gaming, and how can communities help break them down?
I think there are definitely still barriers for women in gaming, especially when it comes to the feeling of not being fully accepted and comfortable being themselves. There can be moments of doubt, judgment, or pressure that make it harder for women to speak up, compete, or even just enjoy the game without feeling like they have to prove something. That can sometimes make the space feel less welcoming than what it should be.
Gaming should be a place where anyone can show up, be themselves, and enjoy what they love no matter who they are. If you’re being judged or doubted, prove them wrong. There is no need to be a pro player, the point is to have fun. It’s your life and if gaming brings you joy then do that and don’t even listen to the doubters. As a community, the more we work together to support each other, the more we can create a positive space where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
What advice would you give to young women who want to get into gaming or content creation?
My biggest advice would be to just go for it and not let fear or doubt hold you back. It’s so easy to feel like you’re not ready or that you have to be perfect before you start, but you learn and grow along the way. Everyone starts somewhere and grow as they peruse their dreams. What matters most by doing want enjoy is your passion and being yourself.
There will be challenges along the way and there may be moments where you question yourself if you should keep going, but don’t let that stop you. Instead push through those moments. It will help you grow stronger and more confident over time. Surround yourself with people who support you and don’t be afraid to take up space and use your voice. Don’t ever forget that you belong here. If it’s something you love, follow that path because you never know where it might take you.
Anything else to add?
I hope I can inspire anyone reading this! Happy Women’s History Month! Remember to be yourself and don’t ever let anyone tell you different. And to my community, thank you for all your support and being the incredible gamers that you are
